When At Disneyland ~ Take Time To Smell The Flowers

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Disneyland is all about rides and attractions, but next time you visit, take time to stop and check out the landscaping.

The impressive amount of flowers, trees, shrubs throughout Disneyland is a wonderful bonus that many people don’t even stop to think about.

Not only do they host great amounts of beautiful flowers, but did you know that Tomorrowland plants are mostly edible? Part of the “world of tomorrow” theme they present there is a society that is able to eat from the plants they grow for decoration.

Notice the tiny trees and shrubs on the Storybook Land Canal boats. Head to the Disney themed hotels and check out the impressive displays there as well. Bugs land has tons of beautiful flowers to attract all the little bugs that need nectar or a place to hide.

So next time you are in the middle of a crowded spot — stop, head to the side and you’ll find some type of greenery to admire.
